    This position is opened for candidates in China, Australia, Japan, India, Singapore or Hong Kong.

    The Sales Director Asia Pacific grows and manages UL PSI sales in Asia Pacific. With responsibility for revenue generation, strong double-digit growth and financial performance, the Sales Director works with Sales Managers, Account and Sales Executives across Asia Pacific. Focuses on growth throughout the region, new client acquisition, expanding an Asia-wide sales team, as well as customer satisfaction, current account growth, and sustaining customer loyalty.

    The Sales Director Asia Pacific reports to the Global Head PSI Sales.


    • Develops and motivates Sales Managers, as well as Sales and Account Executives and Sales Support, by coaching and transferring the knowledge of sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to the sales team to drive results.
    • Leads client engagement by developing and managing relationships at the key decision maker levels for large and multinational customers.
    • Manages sales transaction pipeline and forecasting.
    • Stays up to date with and understands latest market developments and trends.
    • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
    • Develop and maintain strategic and tactical plans for people and processes.
    • Collaborates with other executive leaders in Market and Product Management, Marketing, Technology and Operation on the strategic development of the business.
    • Collaborates with Marketing operation to assure sales leads are generated with appropriate quantity and quality.


    • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in a related discipline plus generally eight years of directly related experience, including managing a sales and/or a business team.
    • Preferable prior P&L management experience.
    • Preferable experience in the chemical or related industries.
    • Multilingual with extensive cross-cultural exposure, especially across Asia Pacific.
    • Extensive knowledge and firsthand experience of sales processes and managing a complex sale
    • Significant business travel and work outside of the office is required.
