The Transaction Security team in Asia Pacific serves to offer certification services for (new) cards, terminals and hosts in the payment industry. Since this market is moving and growing rapidly, Transaction Security– as a customer focused company – constantly move along with and adapt to the market. Currently UL Transaction Security is hiring a Senior Sales Executive to join our Asia Pacific team based in Shanghai, China. 

 

As part of our business expansion plans, we are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Senior Sales Executive who will be responsible for North China market.

This role will be reporting to the Sales Manager Asia Pacific and support UL Transaction Security Sales Organization by bringing deep technical / subject matter expertise on the offerings of the UL Transaction Security Service Lines with a focus on Sales strategy, acquiring new and large customers, retain existing customers and introducing new service offerings.

We help our clients to define winning strategies and convert these into useful products. We offer advisory services, security evaluation services, test services and test tools.

As a Senior Sales Executive you are responsible to sell our services and products within the region – North China. You will grow and strengthen our sales activities and local recognition across the Asia Pacific for our entire portfolio. Your dealings with our Service Line Managers (in charge of delivery) who provide sales support and handle some clients themselves too.

 

Your role is to define and implement a strategy for our sales activities in North China incorporation with the Sales Manager Asia Pacific. You will develop and grow and contribute our partnerships as well as develop direct sales and trusted networks across the regions for our entire services/products portfolio. Furthermore your industry knowledge will help UL Transaction Security to become the recognized leading security organization.

You combine your knowledge, enthusiasm and ambition to explore the market for new customers and partners as well as strengthening relationships with existing ones. This will enable you to further develop the business perspectives.

  • Responsible for the sales’ targets and goals of North China market.
  • Visit customers throughout China to provide specific expertise and support and close the deal;
  • Orchestrate clients and focus the region, build a clear strategy for the region
  • Act as Thought Leader towards clients
  • Direct business development towards clients, especially clients within our advisory/ consultancy portfolio; and other (large or key) accounts
  • Help foster leads and sell new offerings
  • To lead commercial proposal and contract generation and ensure it bring a strong value-proposition to the clients;
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales activities and introduce new services/offerings to existing and new customers;
  • Work closely with regulators, agents, sales team in the region; represent UL at trade shows, trade association meetings and other events as needed.
  • Supports lead generation and chargeable work and assists with sales opportunities.

資歷/资历

 

  • Degree holder with minimum 3.5 to 6 years’ experience related to Sales’ position, preferably within smart card and/or card Security industry;
  • Excellent in English (written and spoken) as well as mandarin language is necessary to cater for our client in China.
  • Self-starter with good listening skills and strong public speaker skills; be able to use leading and probing questions to provide positive feedback;
  • Intensive travelling is part of the job. Living in China would be ideal as the role is based in Shanghai.
